Dr. Correa to Lecture About How to Overcome Fear of Math

Tri-state Area— Professor Alberto Correa, Ph.D., from Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico, will speak in Newark, NJ about overcoming fear of math.

His presentation will be aimed at students and tristate area residents who will attend the 16th Annual Conference on Dominican Affairs (CODA), slated to take place on Sunday, February 28th, 2016 from 8am to 4pm at Rutgers University’s Paul Robeson Campus Center, 350 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Newark, NJ 07102.

“After the breakfast plenary session, CODA will introduce Dr. Correa at the 9:00am plenary session; with his charming, interactive and effective speaking style, he will talk about phobia of Math and how to overcome it,” said Amiris Perez-Bonilla, CODA Executive Director.

“After the plenary, Dr. Correa, Dr. Maria Teresa Montilla and Dr. Teresa Rodriguez will present on the panel about Types of Leadership to discuss personality types, role of leaders, methods and strategies to be a good leader. This year’s presentations will benefit not only students, but also teachers and conference attendees,” she continued.

Due to his charisma and warmth, Professor Correa is frequently invited to speak at colleges, universities, schools and organizations dedicated to leadership development and community empowerment. He always attracts the attention of people around him.

In her campaign trip to Puerto Rico, the New York Times reported a photo taken by Elise Amendola from Associated Press, showing Hillary Clinton and Dr. Correa drinking famous President beer from the Dominican Republic.
